Host a tournament¶
Part of Start here. Run your first match before this.
Tournaments run structured multi-match events on a playlist: brackets (knockout: one loss and a team is out) or round robins (every team plays every other team). Players queue as usual; the plugin runs the event.
1. Mark a playlist¶
Tournaments switch on per playlist in your playlists file:
For a round robin instead, set use-round-robin: true (with best-of: -1
and use-brackets: false). Reload with /manhunt reload.
2. Open registration¶
Players join the playlist queue like any other queue. When enough are in, start the event:
Between rounds, players never touch the lobby: they hold or spectate a live event match until their next match teleports them straight in.
3. Verify¶
Run one round to the end, then check the event:
You should see the bracket tree or standings, and the next round should queue on its own.
