Converting to Premium¶
Upgrading is a jar swap: JManhunt out, JMH-Premium in. Both
editions share the data format and the plugins/JManhunt data
folder, so nothing needs rewriting or migrating.
1. Swap the jar¶
Delete the free plugin jar, then drop in the premium jar. On the first premium boot, any bundled modifiers and presets that the free edition never seeded copy into the mods folder; existing files (including your edits) stay untouched.
Never install both jars at once
Both jars share the JManhunt plugin name, so the server
refuses to load the second jar instead of running two copies.
2. Keep your lobby or start fresh¶
Keep: define lobby boundaries inside the existing lobbyworld. No built work is lost.
Fresh: stop the server, delete the lobbyworld at
world/dimensions/minecraft/jmh_lobby, start the server, and run
/mh setup for the 3-minute dialogue setup. It offers the ADVANCED
lobby template with three lobbies ready to go and extend on: the
fastest route to parallel lobbies.
Skip one-click setup
One-click is for new servers, not converters. One-click anyway
(data loss accepted): stop the server, delete the
plugins/JManhunt data folder, restart; one-click appears on
the next /manhunt run.
