Upgrading

Settings regroup

Settings paths were regrouped for consistency:

  • Match settings gained start, headstart, gameplay, and leaving groups; match end settings moved under finish.
  • Compass signal options moved under holder, target, terrain, climate, and policy groups.
  • Players settings gained identity and combat groups; server announcements moved under announce.
  • The file version plus anonymous-statistics toggle moved under advanced.plugin.
  • Lobbies gained general, join, and bounds groups; the lobby toolbar split its flat buttons into items, switcher, and quickmatch groups.
  • World-engine settings gained general, search, scripts, style, and wave groups.
  • Compass analysis debuffs moved from commands console lines to effects [effect, amplifier] pairs.

Old paths are dropped: affected values reset to fresh defaults, and startup logs a warning naming the stale blocks. Re-apply your tweaks under the new paths after upgrading; each settings page shows the current layout.

Messages move

Messages moved from the single messages.yml to one file per language under lang/ (lang/en-us.yml by default). The old file is never read, so re-apply any message tweaks under the new layout; see Messages for the language option.

Prefs verbs

  • The personal lobby verbs moved from /manhunt lobby to /manhunt prefs: switch, fx, visibility, and quickmatch now live under prefs, with jmanhunt.command.lobby.self renamed to jmanhunt.command.prefs.self (the full node is jmanhunt.command.prefs).
  • The old /manhunt lobby <verb> spellings no longer parse; update aliases, macros, and permission grants.
